Construction begins with the hull.
-
I used staple-less construction. It eliminates the tiny marks made by staples, but greatly increases the build time.
-
The final strip is placed in the hull.
-
The hull is fiberglassed.
-
The boat is flipped over and stripping of the deck begins.
-
Part of the deck pattern.
-
The deck is complete. It looks rather messy before sanding.
-
The deck is sanded.
-
The deck is fiberglassed.
-
The inside of the hull has braces so it didn't lose its shape during a move.
-
The interior is fiberglassed.
-
I used strips to build the cockpit coaming.
-
The coaming is fiberglassed.
-
The entire hull is sanded.
-
Varnish goes on the deck.
